Schemel Stool - Bauhaus Dessau 100 Edition
In 1925, when the Bauhaus moved to Dessau, the Rowac stool was part of the journey. As the first seat made of riveted steel, it became a fixture in workshops, classrooms, and even the school’s legendary parties.
To mark 100 years of Bauhaus Dessau, Rowac revives this industrial archetype in a strictly limited edition. Handcrafted in the Ore Mountains, each stool is made of cold-rolled steel with a fine zinc-nickel finish that protects the surface while preserving its raw, honest character.
The first 100 pieces carry a special engraving – “Bauhaus Dessau 100” with year and production number – and come with a large-format art print from 1928 showing Bauhaus students on a break.
