AJ Eklipta Wall Lamp
In 1956, Arne Jacobsen designed the model AJ Eklipta for the town hall in Rødovre, and indeed in two different sizes, namely with Ă350 and Ă450 diameter. They were used in the stairwells and in the exterior as wall lamps. Later, another version followed with Ă220 diameter for St. Catherineâs College in the United Kingdom. For stairwells, Arne Jacobsen always preferred the largest model. Today, the lamp is used worldwide as an architectural dot on the âiâ.
